Nicki Minaj manages to go an all star lineup for her sophomore anthology Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, including dancehall veteran Beenie Man and rap icon Nas.

Speaking with Funkmaster Flex, Nicki Minaj said she wanted Lauryn Colina on the single "Champion," featuring Nas, Young Jeezy and Drake.

"I wanted to get her on 'Champion'," Nicki Minaj said. "That would have been crazy, right? She was my fave."

"Lauryn to me was the goddess. I'd dearest to meet her. I'chiliad pretty sure she's heard me talk virtually her a billion times," Nicki Minaj added.

Nicki Minaj also gave some props to other female veteran rappers before her including Remy Ma and Foxy Brown.

"Remy at one time brought back this free energy that was near palpable. When the 'Ante Up' verse came out, if you ain't know her, yous knew her and so."

"Foxy was ane of my faves. I had connected with her a lot just because she's Trini and I'chiliad Trini, and I always thought if I meet her, she would understand me. Foxy Brown was my friend in my head."

The Young Money femcee also shout out to several of her pairs including the late Left Eye, Da Brat, Eve, Missy Elliot, Queen Latifa and MC Lyte.
